Euna Lee and Laura Ling were apparently taken from the village of Kangan-ri, North Korea, where their healthier size and weight would have made them very obvious. Mitchell Koss, veteran executive producer for Current TV, which also employed the two women, eluded capture and after a brief detention by the Chinese authorities, returned home to the U.S. He isn't talking and apparently Current TV is admonishing all of its employees to remain silent because anything they say can be used against the two women.
Things don't look good for Lee and Ling right now. The Regime has just seen a change in leadership from father to son causing some internal crisis and with the nuclear testing and the U.S. response, the women could be imprisoned for a long time.
This is in direct contradiction to what earlier analysts I have quoted had to say We can only wait and see, but always keep the plight of these ladies in the forefront..
